The AeroPoints app serves as an essential companion for the AeroPoint 2 devices, facilitating a streamlined connection to your equipment. With this application, users can easily access upload information and configure custom network credentials. A dedicated help button is conveniently located at the bottom of the interface, providing users with supplementary information regarding the AeroPoint 2 units.

Connecting AeroPoints to the App

The integration of AeroPoint 2 devices with the app is achieved through Bluetooth connectivity. This connection allows users to monitor various aspects of the AeroPoint, including its current battery level, charging status, and firmware version. Additionally, the app provides valuable insights during data collection surveys, such as the total time dedicated to gathering information.

Viewing Upload Details

When utilizing the app for data uploads, users can actively track the progress of each upload from the AeroPoint 2 devices. The Survey view displays a chronological list of surveys either in the process of being uploaded or queued for upload. A visual progress bar and a confirmation check mark indicate the successful completion of file transfers.

Configuring Custom Network Credentials

AeroPoint 2 devices are capable of searching for two distinct WiFi connections for data uploads. The primary and default network is labeled 'propeller' with the corresponding password 'propeller.' Furthermore, users have the option to configure a custom network, such as their home or office WiFi. Once network credentials are established through the AeroPoints app, the AeroPoint 2 units will autonomously search for and connect to that specified network in future instances.
